Things to be discussed here:
- Amount of desired members for the guild
- Recruiting message

The recruiting message is a very important topic about the recruiter since the first message its what matters. The message has to contain the seriousness of the guild, same what is it about. We do not want to spam the chat so what we say has to be kept in the mind of who ever reads it.
The current message I use is:
"Greetings fellow citizens of Tyria. The Sacred Knights are currently recruiting any class below lv 30. Come and rally to me if interested (whisper)!"

In my message im showing some respect and care for the reader with my sentence "greetings fellow citizens of tyria". Im also writing what we need which are any class below lv 30. Why lv 30? Because if I recruit someone I want to make sure I can help him or her, not my self being helped instead. Also im showing the seriousness of what im saying by telling them to "come and rally to me".
Is up to you of what message to use. Do not complain we dont have active members if you havent done anything to solve the issue.

I like the message. I personally thinking adding something to the effect of 'come grow with us' or 'be a part of a guild you can make a difference in'....not sure exactly the wording. I think this is alluded to with the 'below lvl 30' comment. I liked....and think others would like...the idea of establishing something...being in from the start. That was the big reason I decided to join. I see lots of guild advertising how many members they have, what they already accomplished, etc. Frankly I want to earn my place which I think others share.

John- Are you thinking that all members will have rights to recruit or that it should be limited to a group designated for that role?

Most likely its going to start with the Knights our 2nd rank which will be allowed to recruit. Also because someone its a Knight does not mean it is necessary to recruit. Of course if you want to grow higher than that you need to show your dedication to the guild. And recruiting is a big part of it, since not all the players are active as we are. Some might quit and we need to keep the cycle going, if not the guild will become inactive.

Will we be in a recruiting phase until further notice? And do you encourage us to do some background questions before we invite people? As in, are we worried about inviting riffraff?
